Great black and white photographers, PART 2

W. Eugene Smith was born Dec. 30th, 1918 in Wichita and died Oct. 15th, 1978. He worked in photojournalism his whole life and had a section in Life Magazine called "Country Doctor." He went to Notre Dame for only a year and took photography all thru high school. He also published some books like "The Big Book." In his older life, he married his wife from japan and lived there from 71-73. In 1974, he moved back to the US and died from his second stroke.
